Every other major Ukrainian factory that can help in the war effort has been destroyed, which is now why all Ukrainian military equipment that needs to be repaired is being shipped to Poland. But not the Motor Sich factory.
It is a huge factory complex that provides parts for aircraft, and since the start of the war it was always a target because it was assembling engines for aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. It was only after I learned that the Chinese had invested an enormous amount of money into the company, and in this factory specifically, did I appreciate why it was off limits to Russian military strikes ....
