Russian Helicopters (part of Rostec State Corporation) will demonstrate a wide range of civil and military helicopters at the 11th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia-2018 which will be held in the Crocus Expo exhibition center near Moscow on May 24-26, 2018.

The holding static exposition will include Mi-171Sh helicopters with advanced capabilities, a refined Ansat helicopter, and the first serial production Mi-171A2 helicopter. Its transfer to UTair-
Helicopter Services, the first customer, is planned as part of the exhibition.

A presentation of a brand-new multirole VRT500 developed by VR-Technologies design office (part of the holding) for visitors is scheduled in the exhibition program. This model should reinforce positions of Russian Helicopters in the fast- growing segment of light helicopters with weight up to
2 tons.

Furthermore, specialists from Russian Helicopter will be fully engaged in the business program of the event: negotiations with Russian and foreign partners are planned. We are a traditional participant of HeliRussia and take an active part in its work. This year, besides a big premiere of the light multirole helicopter, the event will be focused on a presentation on achievements of Russian Helicopters companies in additive technologies and topology optimization. These areas will change the image of the world aviation soon,& said Andrey Boginsky, CEO, Russian Helicopters.

The multirole Mi-171A2 helicopter is a result of in-depth modernization of helicopters from the world-famous Mi-8/Mi-17 series. There are over 80 modifications in the Mi-171A2 design as compared to the baseline model. The helicopter is equipped with the VK-2500PS-03 engines with the digital control system. It also has a power unit with the increased capacity and, therefore, strengthened transmission. Thanks to the modern digital navigation complex, the helicopter can be operated by a crew consisting of only two men. Introduction of equipment for diagnostics and monitoring of essential systems' status as a part of airborne avionics has increased the helicopter reliability and made it possible to reduce maintenance time. The helicopter has a more effective X- shaped antitorque rotor and a new main rotor with all-composite blades of an improved
aerodynamic configuration.

The VRT500 is a light single-engine helicopter with coaxial propellers and 1,600 kg of take off weight. The aircraft will have the largest passenger and cargo cabin with total capacity of 5 people
and will be equipped with a modern avionics complex based on the &glass cockpit" principle. The performance of the helicopter will allow it to speed up to 1,000 km/h and have up to 750 km of
useful load.

 Russian Helicopters (part of Rostec State Corporation) will present the newest military helicopters as part of the International Exhibition of Weapons Systems and Military Equipment KADEX-2018 which will be held from May 23 to 26, 2018 in Astana.

The holding's exposition will include Mi-28NE, Mi-35M attack helicopters and a Mi-38T troop transport helicopter. Moreover, holding's executives will negotiate with traditional and potential operators of Russian helicopters. After-sales service of delivered Russian helicopters will be discussed as well. 

"The CIS market is one of the most promising for us. Knowing about high demand for Russian helicopters in this region, we plan to develop relations both in the military segment based on the Collective Security Treaty Organization and in the civil sector," said Vladislav Savelyev, Deputy CEO for Sales of Military Helicopters, Russian Helicopters.

The Mi-28N "Night Hunter" is a modern attack helicopter designed for searching and destruction of tanks, armored and non-armored vehicles, as well as enemy infantry on the battlefield and low-speed air targets. The helicopter can be operated in normal and difficult day-night weather conditions.

The Mi-35M is a multirole high performance attack helicopter, namely, it can be used efficiently in high temperature and altitude. The Mi-35M design provides the helicopter with low acoustic signature, improved combat survivability and reduces maintenance burden.

The Mi-35T is a troop transport version of the Mi-38 designed by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. All Mi-38T accessories and components are produced in Russia. Communication tools for military needs and additional fuel tanks can also be installed to increase flying range. The Mi-38T allows expanding functionality and extending the scope of machines by creating specialized versions, including the "Arctic" version of the helicopter.
