Business Insider: If China allies with Russia there will be a new World War, Ukraine's President Zelenskyy warns

* US officials have expressed concern that China could support Russia by providing lethal aid.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned China against supporting Russia, saying that doing so would threaten to bring about a new World War.
The warning came in an interview published on Monday in the German newspaper Die Welt, in which Zelenskyy outlined his hopes that China would choose to support Ukraine, and not Russia, in the ongoing conflict.
"At the moment, however, I don't think it's possible," he said, per Al Jazeera's translation of the interview. Zelenskyy told the newspaper that he sees an opportunity for China to make a "pragmatic assessment" of the situation.
