* Biden, 78, appeared to doze off during the first COP26 speeches after flying in from the G20 in Rome
* Queen was originally supposed to host but skipped COP26 on advice from doctors
* UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson greeted the VIPs instead
President Joe Biden capped off his first day at the COP26 climate conference on Monday with a royal reception with Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Biden laughed with Prince William, and put a hand on his shoulder at the event at the popular Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow, a short distance from where the climate summit was being held.
The Duchess of Cambridge was also seen arriving at the event along with Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
