I would also add the U.S. intelligence community, the US State Department, past Presidents and President Biden, lack of oversight from Congress, a foreign policy establishment that did not raise the questions that should have been raised, and a compliant press that .... when everything  and everyone failed in Afghanistan in just two months .... created the perfect storm for all of us to see that there is a problem with Washington DC.
