The reconnaissance units and special forces of the Russian Airborne Forces will be the first to receive the new Typhoon-VDV armored vehicles. The commander of the Airborne Forces, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov, said that, this year, the paratroopers will receive a batch of Kamaz K-4386 Typhoon-VDV for trial operation. Mass deliveries of it to the troops are expected in 2021. Earlier it was reported that whole battalions would receive these armored vehicles.
