The Indonesian Navy (Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Laut: TNI-AL) has submitted an IDR4.59 trillion (USD320 million) request

for six utility helicopters to the country's finance ministry.

A declassified copy of the request was provided to Jane's by a military source at Singapore Airshow 2020, which runs from 11-16 February.

This document was submitted to the ministry in late January 2020, together with a separate USD375 million funding request for eight attack helicopters.

According to information from the document, the funding is sought from the country's national defence budget for the fiscal years spanning 2020-24.
