The three companies competing with Lockheed Martin’s F-35 jet have already complained about the way the contest is being run, and expressed concern some of the specifications clearly favor the U.S. firm, industry sources have said in recent weeks.

WNU Editor: It is an open secret that the Canadian government and the defense staff want the F-35. It took a while but Boeing and Airbus have finally realized the obvious, The fix is in, and they are just window dressing to give the perception that a serious consultation was undertaken before the decision was made on what fighter jet should Canada choose. It is too bad. I personally believed Boeing's Super Hornet would be ideal for defending Canada's vast regions.
