DISA awards $323M processing contract
Hewlett Packard Enterprise has won a potential 10-year, $323.9 million contract to perform processor capacity services for the Defense Information Systems Agency.
DISA received five other offers for the contract that contains an initial five-year base period followed by five individual option years, the Defense Department said in its Tuesday awards digest.
This contract supports infrastructure and processing capabilities, plus supply and related services work for the x86 family of computer chipsets.
Also known as “XPCS,” the contract is a successor to DISA’s current Processor Capacity Services program awarded in 2012 to the former
A companion contract for services related to the SPARC operating system is under a post-award protest by Oracle after Vion Corp. retained its incumbency on that program. A Government Accountability office decision on Oracle’s protest is expected by Feb. 1.
