DHA awards contract for brain injury support

Octo Consulting Group has won a $25 million contract to provide IT support to the Defense Health Agency traumatic brain injury directorate.

The company will focus on developing standardized processes as well as introducing agile development practices for the DHA’s research and development efforts.

The organization needs high-performing information management and IT development and support services, Octo said in a release. The company will support the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center and the Psychological Health Center of Excellence.

Directorate staff to institute Agile software development, unique prioritization techniques, and proven program management methods to improve their information distribution, modernize their system, and simultaneously reduce costs,” said Jay Shah, executive vice president at Octo.

Octo will provide support services including program management, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management, as well as desktop and end user services, information management, and web services and enterprise IT service tasks.
