Helikopter Super Puma HX-3315 (photo : bimors)

Pekan lalu PT DI melakukan uji terbang helikopter Super Puma dengan nomor registrasi HX-3315 di atas lanud Husein Sastranegara, Bandung yang berdekatan dengan fasilitas produksi PT DI.

Tidak dijelaskan pesanan siapa helikopter Super Puma ini, namun kemungkinan besar adalah pesanan TNI AU mengingat kebutuhan helikopter untuk TNI AU masih cukup besar.

Tercatat bahwa hingga tahun 2024 TNI AU membutuhkan 68 helikopter angkut penumpang, logistik, VIP dan Combat SAR serta 11 helikopter latih. TNI AU memesan heli jenis SA-330 Puma, AS-332 Super Puma dan EC-725 Cougar kepada PT DI.

Terakhir kali TNI AU menerima pengiriman helikopter AS-332 Super Puma dari PT DI pada kuartal pertama tahun 2017, dimana TNI AU pesan 16 helikopter jenis ini kepada PT DI. Untuk selanjutnya PT DI akan berkonsentrasi pada pembuatan helikopter EC-725 Cougar yang lebih besar.
