In November 2017, Malaysian Coast Guard and Royal Malaysian Navy officers witnessed the progress in 30mm SMASH test&integration facility in Lumut, Perak, Malaysia.
ASELSAN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD., which is %100 owned by ASELSAN, established in 2017 with the purpose of local production of Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon Systems and act as a regional hub for sales, after-sales and R&D activities. In this context, the local 30mm SMASH System assembly, integration and tests are the first steps of ASELSAN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. and the company targets to make further investment in Malaysia for the serial production and R&D.
