FNSS starts talking with the Royal Thai Army for the possibility of proposing the M113 upgrade package.

FNSS has M113A4 upgrade program on offer by utilizing the knowledge of the OEM production of the original M113 part.

"The M113A4 upgrade program will see most of the system upgraded into the higher performance components with the lower cost compared to the new APC procurement. FNSS ready to offer the M113A4 upgrade program to RTA and perform the work here in Thailand either team up with the local companies or using the RTA facilities" Engin Sonbay, Business Development Leader of FNSS said.

The upgrade focusing on battlefield survivability including the additional armor that can withstand the 14.5 mm bullet, new 350 hp diesel engine, fully automatic transmission, and still capable of carrying 13 troops.
