But in the dangerous game that is international politics, Trump would be wise to quickly grasp the ultimate of inconvenient truths: Practicing "good guy vs. bad guy" foreign policy where the "evil" are to be "punished" is a simplification that can only lead to disaster.

WNU Editor: I think .... or should I say I hope .... that in the end both Washington and Moscow will not push the button. But in the event that such a scenario does lead to a heavy loss of life for Russian soldiers in Syria (or elsewhere) .... I do know that we will definitely be entering a new and very dangerous Cold War that will be just as intense as the Cold War was between the U.S. and the Soviet Union from the end of the Second World War to the fall of the Warsaw block.
